These terms cover your use of the Principal Seat app and this website. The publisher is Principal Seat. Contact: [email protected]. The app is coming soon on the App Store and is not yet available. These terms apply once it is released.

1. Agreement

By using the app or this website you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use them. The app is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement together with these terms. If the two conflict on a point they both cover, Apple's agreement controls for that point.

2. The app

Principal Seat is a private pipeline, networking and interview preparation tool for people in an executive job search, for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac. The app keeps your data on your device and, if you turn sync on, in your own iCloud. You are responsible for your device, your Apple Account and the content you enter.

3. Free and Premium

Free includes 5 live opportunities, one file import, one full run of the offer checklist and the equity model on one opportunity, and the compensation lock, which you may switch off. Premium adds unlimited live opportunities and file imports, the offer checklist and equity model on every opportunity, side by side offer comparison, detailed exports and the Apple Watch companion. Features and limits may change before release and in later versions.

4. Auto-renewing subscriptions

• Premium is available as a monthly subscription at $14.99 and a yearly subscription at $99. Prices are in US dollars. Taxes may apply and prices may change. Apple shows the final price before you confirm.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• Each subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the then current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel it. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. Request one through Apple.

5. Free trial

New Premium subscribers may get a 14 day free trial on the monthly and yearly plans. A free trial is available once per Apple Account. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription for the plan you chose, at that plan's price, and renews automatically after that. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.

6. Six month pass

The six month pass is a one time purchase at $59 that gives you Premium for six months. It is not an auto-renewing subscription. It does not renew, it has no free trial, and there is nothing to cancel. When the six months end, Premium features return to the Free limits unless you buy another pass or subscribe. Your data stays in your own iCloud and on your device.

7. Your content

You own what you enter. We do not receive it and we do not claim any rights in it. You are responsible for keeping backups and for having the right to enter any third party information, such as contact details, that you store in the app.

8. Not advice

Principal Seat is a record keeping and planning tool. The offer checklist, equity model, comparisons and exported prompts are estimates and prompts for your own use. They are not financial, tax, legal, employment or career advice. Check important terms with a qualified adviser before you accept or decline an offer. Results depend on the figures you enter.

9. Acceptable use

Use the app and website lawfully. Do not copy, reverse engineer or resell the app except as the law allows, and do not try to interfere with the website.

10. Third party services

The app works with Apple services such as iCloud and the App Store. Those services are governed by Apple's terms. If you choose to paste a prompt into your own AI assistant or send an export to an adviser, that is your choice and is governed by their terms.

11. No warranty

The app and website are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted or error free, or that sync through iCloud will never fail. Keep your own backups, for example with Export my data.

12. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Principal Seat is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the app or website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept it. You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access if you break these terms.
